Fanny ~ R.I.P

Fantasia - On December 17, 2007, our little girl couldnt get up any more, so my dad had to have her put down. She had been in our family for many many years. I think she was age 34. I remember learning how to ride on her. When we would go riding I would always be in the back just trotting along. When we all started to get older we would just let her loose and she would follow us around like a dog. My sister Andrea and I remember many times taking her with us to herd cows and she would run right up there and bite them. She was a trooper - may she have peace in heave.. We miss her every day.

Hay! Dude!

These are just some pictures I took of Dude a few weeks ago. I keep a blanket on him now in the winter so that when we run barrels he does not sweat as hard so that he doesnt get sick. I think he wanted his picture taken cuz he kept looking at me.

Hay Dude - South Jordan, Ut

I love this picture - I love this horse.. lol. I had a great summer - I just hope this summer is just as good.

El Jay

El Jay Maybe Baby - this is a horse that Shane's dad owns - She is a great horse but has a few problems, she was not really broke well when she was younger. I started just playing with her on barrels and did great for a while but then shut down because she did not have the foundation that was needed to continue. I am hoping that once I move to Chester I can start working with her again and maybe something will come of it but that wont be for a while

2007 Trails West Horse Trailer

I bought my own horse trailer! yay! I absolutely love it - I am pretty sure my horse does too, it has a lot more room than my dads and the tack room is great. If we wanted to go camping with the horses, its easy because we already have some where to sleep. I think it is the nicest thing I have ever bought.

SR Little Sister

Future Champion! This is the new horse Shane and I bought this fall. She has some good race horse blood in her breeding lines, that I hope in a few years she will be running barrels just like Dude. My ultimate dream and goal is to run in the PRCA and go to the NFR in Vegas.. one day.. oh one day.. lol.

UBRA Limited Champion

I joined UBRA last winter. The Utah Barrel Racing Association - I competed from March until September and I won my first saddle. Woo woo! I am lucky enough to have a great horse and a supportive boyfriend who usually went to every single one. I didnt get the saddle until December because they had to be custom made. I love it! love it! love it! Hopefully I can win another one this year.. lol.
