Roxxy

I love my dog. Roxxy is my best furry friend. She is always happy to see me even if I have only been gone for 5 minutes. When I first moved back from Tennessee she had to go every where with me. I remember Steph was tolerant enough to let me take her to the movie theater. She sat pretty well through Chicken Little and I only had to yell at her once for barking. lol. I think I have this connection with her because when I bought her in May of 2005, I was not doing well in my marriage and she was the only thing that was really making me happy at the time. If I needed attention she was there, if I needed to cry she was there. Then when I moved home she was all I had again. I am gong to post a lot of pictures of her, I want to start when she was really little and then go up to now. I love my Roxxy dog.

Bullet Bike

I wanted to put the pictures of Shane's bullet bike on here for memory, lol. He claims this bike is the reason why I fell for him.. it might be.. lol. I know his bike was the first motorcycle that I have been on. He sold it so that we could buy our horse trailer, I know he misses it, but I sure love my horse trailer. ha ha.

This is a picture of a new bull Shane's brother bought to help start their own livestock company. This bull used to buck in the PRCA - but is now retired and just used for breeding. I do not know his name but I think he looks like a mean one.

Shane got to work the chute during bull riding for his family at the Herriman rodeo this year. It was his first time doing it so I took pictures. He is the guy in the yellow shirt.

This picture is of Shane and his best friend Ben. Ben is the coach for the Bingham team. It was pretty fun to watch two teams that are coached by best friends that played together in high school. Ben was Riverton High's quarter back -Shane played line backer.

Family Pictures =)

Today we went to Bridle Veil Falls in Provo canyon to have our pictures taken. I have been bugging Shane for a while to get a picture done with us and the dogs together. Andy had some time so Andy and Joe went up there with us and took all of our pictures. No, this does not mean engagement -- lol-- that is the first thing his mom said when she found out we were going up there.. ooo.. wedding pictures.. ha ha not yet I'm afraid, I told her I need a ring first. They turned out really great. Shane was a good sport and I told him it wont be until next year when we have to do this again.

Go Utes!

I have been up at the U for about 3 years now. I am considered a junior with the amount of credits I have taken. All of my sisters are Utes fans - My dad is the only BYU supporter, but we love him anyway.

Kenny Chesney!

I also love Kenny! His words and music soothes my soul =) I know its a little cheesy. I have gone to 3 of his concerts and it gets better every time. His song Me and You is going to be the first song I dance to with Shane at our wedding (he already knows all about it). I just feel that how I met Shane and our story fits that song. I tear up just about every time I hear it, and I cant just listen to it once. I hope he comes back for another concert next year.. till then, I LOVE YOU KENNY!

Harry Potter

I love Harry Potter! I have read all 7 books more than once. I love the books, I am a little sad it is over. I cannot wait for the next movies to be finished! Yay Harry Potter!

Valentines Day 2007

On my first Valentines day with Shane he came home from work and handed me a king size twix candy bar. With a grin on his face, he said Happy Valentines day honey! I said wow thanks.. lol. We had already planned to go and ride our horses because I was trying to get Dude in shape for the summer series with UBRA. So we headed over to my parents house to get the horses. When I got there, a few of my sisters were there. Andy was one of them, she asked me how my Valentines day was going and I grumbled..great.. and continued to tell her about my wonderful twix bar. She just laughed and then turned to Shane, she said something to him about my displeasure with my gift and he also laughed and said this is perfect. I had no idea what was going on, I didn't think anything of his comment. We went out to the barn and Shane made sure i was going first - I opened the door and on the floor of the barn, there were 12 roses, a white teddy bear, chocolate covered strawberries and a card. I cried.

He told me then at that point that he had called my mom and my dad and had this whole thing set up. He had the flowers delivered to my parents house and then talked my mom into hiding the flowers in the barn so that i would not know they were there. He planned my disappointment with only giving me a twix bar so that when I got the real thing it would be amazing - and it was. I took the flowers in the house and received a groan of awwws and Shane was told over and over again, how romantic and sweet he is -- I look forward to this year.. ha ha ha.

Taylor Swift Concert

My sister Stephanie gave me and my friend their extra tickets to go and see Trick Pony. Taylor Swift was the opening singer. She said that in order to sell 5,000 cds she needs to meet 5,000 people, so after the concert she said she would be available for autographs. Shane couldn't go to the concert with me because he was in Kanab working - so I took Alisha. We waited in line for about 45 min. When we got up to meet her she signed an autograph for me- I had her write "Shane, you are my cowboy. Wish you were here, Love Taylor" It was really neat. She is a super sweet girl. For the record we met her before she became super famous!
